Log Home Restoration
Log home restoration includes removing the old stain via abrasive blasting with an ultra fine media made of recycled glass. Next, unless otherwise specified by the client, we re-stain the logs using multi-coat, high-quality stain system.

Media blasting (also known as sand blasting) is the service we use for restoring the exterior of your log home.
Media blasting can also be used to restore decks, strip paint, and remove rust from metal barges & fuel tanks!
Caulking/Chinking
Caulking/Chinking
Protecting those log seams and trim is important! Sealing your log seams with caulk or chinking is a great way to keep the inside air inside and the outside air out! It provides another layer of protection for log homes to prevent drafts and log rot.
Staining
Caulking/Chinking
We stain log homes, wood siding, decks, stairs, and railings. We also offer maintenance coats as it is important for the longevity of the stain and wood surfaces.
Please note: We no longer offer any painting services and will not re-coat any decks or other wood surfaces with paint.
Minor Rot Re-Surfacing
Minor Rot Re-Surfacing
We offer minor rot re-surfacing and repair services. The main method we use to fix minor rot is wood epoxy. The 2nd method is re-surfacing the log as long as it is less than 50% of the diameter of the log.
We treat all log rot with either borate rods or powder before filling or re-surfacing.
We do not offer full-log replacement at this time.
Air Leak Detection

Thermal Scanning & Blower Door Testing is an excellent way to evaluate how efficiently your log home retains heat and air conditioning. These tests can also help pinpoint exactly where air leaks and areas of energy loss are occurring.
Keep in mind: if air can get in, moisture can too.

Maintenance is key to the longevity of your home and treating early signs of stain failure before it turns into a big problem.
We offer yearly "Cabin Care" services in addition to 4-5 year maintenance coats to keep your stain going strong and your home looking superb!
